All teams' have their points divided by THREE until they have played in a minimum of THREE "recogized" tournaments. A team who wins one tournament only (in the TBS Recognized Tournament Listing) cannot remain on top ahead of other teams who have won four or five top tournaments and finished second in one. The idea is to recognize teams who play in three or more top rated tournaments and earned thier ranking on the field and to take the team on the road and play (TBS is a TRAVEL Ball website). But if they do not, then they will only have 1/3 or 2/3 of their points depending if they only played one or two "recognized" tournaments respectively. Essentially, credit is given for seeking to play the best to be the best.
