August 3, 2010 - Disney’s Wide World of Sports USSSA Elite 32 pool rounds. Day three is now going at full speed as weather has now cleared to allow play to proceed as scheduled.

The #1 Oakley Stingrays Black opened with a show of power as they handed the Greenville Pirates a 10-2 loss. The Pirates have a 2-1 record including a win over the #11 ranked Mudcats (TN) . Next up, the Stingrays will face the Avengers VI Force later Tuesday afternoon.

The #3 ranked TEAM Miami now stands at 2-0 with wins over Baseball Heavan (FLS) and PSA Red Sox (Blue).

The #5 ranked Georgia Yard Dogs Black are showing that playing a very tough season schedule pays off in such series as the Elite 32. They are now 2-0 with wins over the OK Naturals and the PSA Sox Blue. Next up the face Bullet Baseball (LA) Tuesday morning as they wrap up their pool play well positioned to win their pool.

The #6 ranked American Avengers VI have struggled in this series and have suffered two straight loses that have come from the bats of very good teams including the Oklahoma Naturals and the Mudcats (TN).

The #7 ranked Houston Banditos Black are 3-0 in this series. They are another team that is benefiting from a rigorous regular season schedule against many good 10U teams. They are set to win their pool as they head into bracket rounds.

The #8 Carolina Cubs is another team that is battled test over the course of the season as they played a tough 10U schedule. Thus far in this series, they are 3-0 with impressive wins and are set to win their pool. However, they have not yet faced the upper echelon of the really good teams. Their test will come when they face other very good teams in the bracket rounds.

The #9 Ranked PSA Red Sox Blue has a 2-0 record with wins over the Tornadoes of Plainfield, IL and Baseball Heavan Miracles (FLS, a surprise team that has played well in this series).
