By ParkSelectWriter, Brad Jackson Westfield, IN- The Indians and Prospects met up in the championship game of the 10U CABA World Series game to determine a champion. The Indians came out with hot sticks rolling over from the previous game to take the contest by a score of 8-2. The Prospects got on the board first in this contest as Jared Trivette provided an RBI double to put the Prospects up 1-0. Mac N Seitz came back in the dugout and answered back in the bottom half. Kason Carter got the job done ripping an RBI single that sent Christian Franklin across the dish to tie it all up at one a piece. It would stay there until the fourth when again the Indians struck sending four men across the dish to notch it at 5-1. Mikey Strong, Franklin, and Doyle Dalton each contributed an RBI hit in the mix. The fifth saw the Prospects add their final run of the day as Brett Dawson connected with an RBI double that sent Kyle Knodel across the plate to cut the Mac N Seitz lead to 5-2. In the bottom half the Indians would put the game away putting up three more crooked numbers to extend it to 8-2. Carter Putz and Canon Miller each provided an RBI single in the mix while their teammate Dylan Williams laced an RBI double to give the Indians the CABA World Series championship. Winning pitcher in the contest was Mikey Strong who went the distance on the mound and pitched a superb game. He went on to strike out five Prospects while only giving up two runs. Leading hitters for Mac N Seitz were Miller (3-3), Bayler Hinz (2-3), and Franklin (2-2).
