By ParkSelectWriter, Brad Jackson Westfield, IN- The Mustangs Blue and McHenry squads faced off in the gold bracket play in the CABA World Series. The Mustangs erased the goose egg in the third scoring four runs on three hits. Zyon Avery got the inning off to a good start lacing a single up the middle. He and Will Richter would later be driven in on an RBI single hailing off the bat of Zyon Avery to bring it to 3-0. Jack Van Remortel would then step in the box and provide an RBI single himself to notch it at 4-0. In the fourth the McHenry squad got their bats started scoring three runs to cut the lead to 4-3. Ian Grubick provided most of the punch when he tallied up an RBI hit. He would later score on a fielder’s choice. In the fifth the Mustangs would again strike putting up three more runs on the board.
