Team Florida and the East Cobb Raptors dueled it out in the quarterfinal game of the AAU National Championship. Team Florida came out to showcase their offensive skills and took the game by a huge 16-1 margin.

Team Florida got the scoring started in the first when Hunter Hoglund singled home Iduey Morill to go up 1-0. Hunter would later score on an RBI single off the bat of Johnny Olivera sending it to 2-0. In the second the Florida bunch would cross seven runners to take it to 9-0. Jordan Lala, Austin Mitchell, Canan Ingram, Nate Cox, and Zak Malauasm contributed RBI hits in the mix. In the third the Raptors would get their lone run of the game when Jaegar Keeline singled home Hugh Nelson to cut the lead to 9-1. From there Team Florida continued to rip the cover off the ball and scored eight runs in the third before the game was called on mercy rule at 16-1. The Highlights of the third included a home run from Jordan Lala and an RBI double from Beau Walters.

Winning pitcher in the contest was Austin Mitchell who went the distance giving up only four hits. Leading hitters for Team Florida were Jordan Lala (2-3 HR), Austin Mitchell (2-3), Johnny Olivera (2-3), and Cannan Ingram (2-3).
