10U AAU National Championships - High Heat Kings (FL) vs. Lake Worth Cats (FL) Pool Play Print E-mail

The HHK squad met the Lake Worth Cats in a game that would be all about the defensive work. The Lake Worth Cats got significant help on the mound as Damian Allione pitched a remarkable game to give his bunch the 5-0 win.

 

Lake Worth got on the board first scoring three runs in the top of the first inning. Damian Allione ripped a single to start the rally up. He was followed by an RBI double from Dylan Tosto that drove him in to put the Cats up 1-0. Tosto and Taylor Clapp would later be driven in on a Dave Rodriguez RBI single to notch it at 3-0 after one. It would stay there until the third when again Tosto stepped up and drove in Allione on an RBI single taking it to 4-0. The Cats would continue to do the same and tacked on another run in the fourth when AJ Restivo scorched a triple and was later driven in on an RBI single from Allione.

 

Winning pitcher in the contest was Damian Allione who fanned four and gave up no hits. Leading hitters in the contest were Damian Allione (3-3), Dylan Tosto (2-3), and Chase Kyzar (1-2).
