Updated 7-1-2009

1. Team Mizuno Glory (FL) – This team just keeps on winning. Still haven’t lost at the 9U age level. They will have a big bulls-eye on their back in Disney. They are ranked number before the Elite, will they still be on top when the dust settles?

2. Team Phenom (CA) – This team loves to play and their record shows it. They are 54-0 at 9u and 68-5 at 10u. They just won the slumpbuster in Omaha by defeating Banditos Black.

3. Dairy Queen Crushers (AR) – Coming off a dominating performance in the state tournament, this team has only lost once in their age group. Will be a top contender at the Elite 32.

4. Cicny Flames (OH) – The Ohio state champs are playing well at the right time. Most teams from the north don’t get much respect at nationally events, but nobody better look past this team.

5. Banditos Black (TX) – Had a big stumble at the USSSA state tournament, but don’t count these guys out at the Elite 32. Lost a tough game to TBS #2 Phenom in Omaha.

6. East Cobb Braves (GA) – The Georgia state champs keeps a strong hold on the top 20. Would like to have seen this team at the Elite 32.

7. MSA Black (MI) – The Michigan state champions are looking to make a name for themselves in Orlando. This team can hit with the best of them but the big question is do they have the pitching to compete at the Elite?

8. Strike Force (TX) – This team has won 20 out of their last 21 games and anyone who knows baseball will tell you that its very important to be playing well at the end of the season.

9. Elite Gamers Red (GA) – The Gamers average an amazing 11.3 runs a game and believe it or not, that number went UP while winning the Georgia state championship to 14.

10. Florida Pokers (FL) – Went head to head with TBS #1 Mizuno Glory a few weeks ago and losing two very close ball games. Would love nothing more than a rematch at the Elite.

11. GP Horns (TX) – This team is hard to get a handle on because they play mostly 10U. With that being said, they are 34-12 overall which is still impressive.

12. Knoxville Stars (TN) – This baseball rich organization has finished in the top three of all ten events that they have played in. Look for big things from them in Disney.

13. Charlotte Megastars (NC) – Won the Greensboro Super NIT and is gaining a lot of respect from other 9u coaches. They will have a chance to earn that respect at the Elite 32.

14. Bounty Hunters (AL) – This team cracks the rankings with six tournament wins, including a state title.

15. Legends (TX) – This team is 42-15 and coming of a Texas state championship. Will that be enough to carry them to a national title in Orlando?

16. Pensacola Aquasox (FL) – This team still has yet to finish outside the top four in any event that they have played in. Will that continue in the land of Mickey? Stay tuned.
