14U- Battle in the South- Tournament Preview Print E-mail

The 2009 14U Battle in the South held in Rockwood/Oak Ridge Tennessee kicks off Wednesday June 24th four days and gallons of sweat later, the Champion will be crowned on Sunday June 28th. This year’s Battle in the South is shaping up to be one of the top 14U tournaments around the country.

15 of the top 45 TBS ranked 14U teams will be competing for the Championship Trophy. With five of the top ten 14U teams, there seems to be no clear favorite. Pool play games will be played on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the bracket play begins on Saturday and the Championship Game will be played at high noon on Sunday.

Which one of these teams listed will be crowned champions of the south and walk away with the hardware:
