The Tennessee weather was hotter than a jalapeno pepper and so was the baseball action in Wednesday's Battle In The South 14U tournament. The Cincinatti Mavericks/Rawlings club squeaked by the On Deck O's Black squad 7-6, the Cincy Flames scorched Team Anderson 13-5, the Kentucky Baseball Club left the Alcoa Stars blue with a 9-1 win, the D-BAT Mustangs Black crushed the Michigan Crush 17-3, the NVTBL Stars left the D-BAT Mustangs Blue squad seeing stars by an 11-0 tally, the Indiana Prospects roughed up the New England Ruffnecks 9-1.

The TBS #16 ranked ECB Titans knocked off the Cincinatti Mavericks/Rawlings squad 8-4, Brooklawn Baseball edged out the Middletown Bats 4-3, Team Anderson beat the Indiana Bandits 9-7, the Alcoa Stars fought off the Pennsylvania Wildcats 3-2, the Ohio Chargers electrified the TBS #6 ranked Michigan Crush 14-3, Hit after Hit tamed the Florida Mustangs 6-4, TBS #14 ranked D-BAT Mustangs Blue left the South Oakland A's singing the blues with a 9-5 win, the Indiana Prospects blanked the Grassland Bulldogs 5-0, the On Deck O's Black squeaked by the Bowling Green Spirits 2-1, TBS #4 ranked Team Alabama broke the Middletown Bats 4-1, the Cincy Flames burned the Indiana Bandits 7-4, Kentucky Baseball Club clawed their way past the
Pennsylvania Wildcats with a 9-1 win.

The Mount Juliet Bearcats beat the Ohio Chargers 6-5, the TBS #8 ranked D-BAT Mustangs Black grounded the Clarksville Orioles 9-8, the NVTBL Stars soared past the South Oakland A's 10-4, the Grassland Bulldogs took a bite out of the Lexington Grays 12-0, the TBS HM Knoxville Stars defeated the Tidewater Drillers 5-4, the Franklin Falcons flew past the Sandy Plains Wildcats 4-3, the Ohio Heat took it's toll on the Central Florida Red Raiders 14-7, the Impact Baseball Academy left it's impact on the On Deck O's Orange squad by a 4-3 margin, the Mount Juliet Bearcats fought off the Indiana Blazers 6-5.

The TBS #3 ranked East Cobb Astros goose-egged the Clarksville Orioles 8-0, the Panthers Baseball Club pounced the Germantown Sox 5-4, the TBS #17 ranked Sandy Plains Wildcats mauled the New England Ruffnecks 9-0, the Knoxville Stars took flight against the Bowling Green Spirits 11-5, Team Alabama beat the Franklin Falcons 11-6, the Ohio Heat lit up Team Orlando 9-5, Impact Baseball Academy defeated Legends Baseball 4-2, and the Florida Mustangs cooled the Hampshire Heat 3-2.

Day one definitely had it's share of excitement and day two promises to be equally exciting, so come out and watch these youngsters play the game of baseball.
