Who is a 2008 First Team TBS All-American, lives in Cordova, Tennessee and plays for the 14U Team Alabama? That would be none other than, Victor Cole, son of Victor and Sherri Cole. Victor was born July 28th, 1994 and has one sister, Catherine. Known as “Vic” to his teammates, Cole can play anywhere on the field, playing pitcher, outfield and first base for the TBS #4 ranked Team Alabama squad. At 5’10 and 185 lbs. Vic plays with great speed and great power.

We met up with Victor to find out more and here’s what he had to say:

Cole’s favorite position to play is pitcher because “when you’re on the mound you can control every part of the game.” Vic’s favorite Major League Baseball player is Johan Santana because “he is a great left-handed pitcher, he has so many different pitches and he plays the game with class.” His favorite player does not play on his favorite team however, the Boston Red Sox. His favorite food is chicken, his favorite movie is “21”, and his favorite subject in school is Spanish. Vic says his favorite park to play in is the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex. When Vic isn’t on the diamond, you’ll find him playing the piano, working out at the gym, or hunting and fishing. When asked about his best asset to his 14U Team Alabama squad, Vic responded “being able to come into a close game and close it out, as well as throwing complete games.”

TravelBallSelect is thankful to have had the opportunity to visit with Victor and wish him and his 14U Team Alabama teammates luck this season. And the next time you see Victor at the park, tell him that you read about “Vic” on TBS.
