1. Terror Baseball - LA - The Terror remain at # 1. They did suffer there first lose of the 2009 season at the Governors Games after a very close and hard fought battle against the SF Extreme. They are the only top 13U team in the country with 1 lose on the season.

2. HB Nitro Elite - CA - The Nitro captured the So Cal state title over Team Rawlings. After loosing to Team Rawlings in pool play Nitro showed up in the Ship ready to play. Nitros Michael Blasko took the mound and did not allow a run in the Championship game.

3. Banditos Black - TX - The Banditos are in Omaha this week rooting on their Longhorns and having some fun at the Slump Buster Tournament in hopes of better preparation for Orlando.

4. Team Rawlings Elite - CA - Team Rawlings showed just a couple weeks ago that they are for real by beating the very talented Nitro team in pool play at the State tournament. TBS has said all year this organization knows how to win.

5. PC Vipers – GA -  The Vipers remain hot now that Summer is here. The boys from Georgia have a legitimate shot of winning some big hardware at the World Series.

6. Chandler Reds - AZ - The Reds remain in the top 10 after capturing the AZ State title.
 
7. Virginia Shredders – VA – The Shredders continue to show why they belong in the top 10 after some key games being played in 2009.  This is a very solid team.

8. East Cobb Astros - GA –  The Astros has finally began to figure it out just as TBS thought they would. With some new roster changes and a big championship win at the 14U state tournament the Stros should not be overlooked.

10. Tri State Arsenal - NJ -  This team continues to impress, look for them to be ready to compete at their World Series .

11. Charlotte Megastars – NC –  After a big win at the State tourney the Megastars have the momentum going their way going to the end of the season.

12.Texas Stampede - TX - This TX team has some big names on the roster and have proved that they belong by beating the Banditos a couple of times in 2009 and were beating the Terminators when the game was called at the rain shortened Battle of the South.

13. Nitro - AZ -  This Arizona team has proven early that they can beat some of the best 13U teams by winning early in the season. They look as they are competing well in 14U as well.

14. BV Reds - PA - Brian Smith's squad may have gotten off to slow start in 2009 but they proved this past weekend in Michigan that they belong on the charts. Look for the boys from the Keystone state to improve even more as the season goes on because they have plenty of athletes.

15. Extreme – SC -  At this point in the season, this athletic team from Darlington SC has won every 13U tournament they have played in 2009.

16. FL Flash - This central Fl team showed up at the Sunshine State Super NIT and surprised some by taking home the crown. The majority of these kids are not strangers to success as many of them were on the Juice team that won the Tournament of Champions in Memphis in the late summer of 2008.

17. Jackson Coyotes - TN - This talented western Tennessee team has traveled and played in some of the big tournaments in 2009 and competed well.

18. SF Extreme - FL - The Extreme battled at the Governors games to beat the #1 team in the country - Terror Baseball by a score of 3-2. Congratulations to the SF Extreme on the big win.

19. Germantown Giants – TN – The Giants may be one of the more athletic 13U teams in the country. They have shown good signs in 2009.

20. PPO Red Dogs - FL - The Red Dogs have lead the way in 2009 in S Florida state play. They have traveled to some of the big tourneys in 2009 and fell a little short. Even with this, TBS feels that they belong in the top 20.

20. CBC Storm - FL - After big wins against the Astros and FL Flash the Storm have once again proved that they belong tin the top 20.
