If there is a better lead off hitter in the country, it may be retired MLB star Rickey Henderson but Banditos Black star, James Alcoser is a close second. Last year alone, Alcoser had a .480 Batting Average, he scored 102 runs, he had 72 stolen bases and topped it all off with 17 outfield assists. It’s no wonder why Alcoser finished up as a TBS 1st Team All-American. James Alcoser was born May 3rd, 1995 and currently resides in Taylor, Texas with his parents Patrick and Vicky Jimenez. James has one sister Julia, and one brother, Christian. At 5’4 and 135 lbs. this speedster may not be the biggest player but he sets the tone for his Banditos Black squad the entire game. This season Alcoser has led his squad to a #3 TBS Ranking.

Want to know more about Banditos Black centerfielder James Alcoser:

James’ favorite food is spaghetti and everyone ball player loves his favorite movie “The Sandlot.” His favorite position to play is centerfield because “you can see everything that’s going on.” His favorite team is the New York Yankees and his favorite MLB player is the Yankees starting shortstop for the past 13 seasons, Derek Jeter. James’ favorite park to play in is Disney Wide World of Sports, where his team finished runners-up last year in the Elite 24. In his spare time, when he’s not speeding around the bases, James likes to relax with some fishing. His favorite subject in school is Math and the Banditos rival team is the American Avengers. His best asset to his team is his undeniable speed.

TravelBallSelect is thankful to have had the opportunity to visit with James and wish him and Banditos Black team the best this season. And the next time you see James at the park, tell him that you read about  “his world” on TBS.
