Dale Burdick is a 2008 TBS First-Team All-American who had an astounding .610 batting average with 12 homeruns last year for the Terminators out of Mississippi. Burdick was born October 12th 1995, to Stefanie and Jerry Burdick. Dale has one brother Michael (8), Burdick and his family live in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Dale plays middle infield for the TBS #1 ranked Terror Baseball out of Louisiana this season, his Terror teammates have nicknamed him “DB”. Dale is 5’8” and 135 lbs, his size and speed gives him the ability to hit for power and play with speed. We met up with Dale to find out more about his world and here’s what he had to say: DB’s favorite Major League Baseball team is the New York Yankees. Undoubtedly, his favorite MLB player is Derek Jeter because “he is a strong leader on and off the field.” DB’s favorite position to play on the field is shortstop because “Derek Jeter plays that position and you get a lot of action.” Burdick loves to eat chicken parmigiana, his favorite movies are “Remember the Titans” and “The Rookie” and his best subject in school is Mathematics. When Dale isn’t studying math or wreaking havoc on the base paths, you can find him throwing the football and playing basketball. Dale’s favorite place to play a game is the Cooperstown Dreams Park in New York. Dale says “the Terror's rival team is the HB Nitro Elite from California.” DB’s best asset to his team is his ability to get on base as a leadoff hitter. TravelBallSelect is thankful to have had the opportunity to visit with Dale and wish him and his Terror teammates luck this season. And the next time you see Dale at the park, tell him that you read about “DB” on TBS.
