2009 13U SF Extreme (FL) Print E-mail

The 13U SF Extreme had a great 2008 season.  The team which is based out of Miami Lakes, FL has a talented pool of players that know the game.  The head coach, Miguel Soto, whom also coaches at Monsignor Pace High School will direct the team with the help of Nick Sued, who joined the team in August of 2008.  The SF Extreme returns  5 players from last years roster.  Players returning are Brian “Big B” Gonzalez (.478 avg.) one of the most dominant left handed pitchers in the country, Bryan Bermudez (.500 avg.) considered by some the best shortstop in Florida, Aaron Soto (.518 avg.) whom led the team in average and on base percentage, Spencer Levine (.508 avg.) considered a great power hitter in South Florida, Michael Hernandez (.480 avg.) whom led the team in RBI’s.

Seven new players have joined the team for 2009.  They are Alex Rodriguez who brings speed and power to the lineup, Michael Medavilla an experienced hitter and talented left handed pitcher, Jameel Edney a speedy leadoff hitter with good power, Eddie Silva a versatile player that can play any position,  George Halamoutis one of the most feared power hitters in this age group,  A.J. Fidalic one of the best center fielders with above average speed and Joey Starling a power hitter that can also dominate a game with his velocity and control on the mound.
