Update- 12U Battle in the South- TN Super NIT- OK Super NIT Print E-mail

The 12U Battle in the South held in Rockwood Tennessee was rained out this past weekend May 1st-3rd. The teams were able to play on Friday but on Saturday the rains came canceling the tournament without any winners to announce. The 13U Battle in the South will be held May 15th-17th with the top three 13U teams vying for a championship. Rain also played a large role in the TN Super NIT. Friday and Saturday games were played at all levels. Sunday was canceled for the 14U, 11U, 10U, and 9U held in Kingsport, TN.

The 13U age group was able to play on Sunday until the rains came during the Semi-Final match-ups. The four teams left were Virginia Shredders, SC Extreme, East Cobb Astros and PC Vipers. The 12U age group held in Bristol, TN was able to complete their tournament with the Carolina Cubs taking home the championship as the Alabama Naturals finished runners-up. The OK Super NIT was rained out completely. Rain out dates has not been posted.
