2009 11U POST Season National Champions/Rankings Print E-mail

1. Tomateros de California- Won the Elite 32 in fantastic fashion, going a perfect 9-0. Clearly the best team in the country from start to finish.

2. Twelve Baseball (TX)- Finished the year as Elite 32 runners-up, posting victories against Leon Medical Centers, West Pines Nike Cobras and Lamorinda Cougars.

3. Leon Medical Centers Baseball (FL)- Lost in the semis of the Elite  32 to the Elite 32 champion Tomateros.

4. West Pines Nike Cobras (FL)- The Cobras were considered by many as a favorite to win the Elite 32 but after suffering losses to Twelve and the Dallas Patriots they went home early.

5. Dallas Patriots (TX)- Picked up wins against the D-Bat Mustangs and West Pines Nike Cobras.

6. Texas Nationals Team- Good showing at the Elite 32 with a loss to the Cinderella team of the tournament, California Dynamite, in the quarterfinals.

7. GBC Team Acceleration (NC)- Had a solid showing at the Elite 32 World Series.

8. Chet Lemons Juice (FL)- Back to Back AAU National Champions.

9. Lamorinda Monarchs (CA)- A successful showing at the Elite 32 posting two wins against team GBC.

10. Miami Playmakers (FL)- The Playmakers looked good at the Elite 32 until they made a mistake and were forced to forfeit against Lehigh Valley Stealth in an elimination game.

11. Banditos Black- A disappointing showing at the Elite 32 has the Banditos fall back five spots from #6 to #11.

12. Tampa Crush- A 5-2 record at the Elite 32 has the Crush moving up three spots from #15 to #12.

13. California Dynamite- Previously not ranked by TBS, the Dynamite went an impressive 7-3 at the Elite 32 taking down the likes of Leon Medical Centers, Texas Nationals, and Team Combat.

14. Oklahoma Elite- The Elite compiled a 4-3 record at the Elite 32 with a big win over Twelve Baseball.

15. Southern Jaguars- The Jaguars had a slow start this past spring but finished strong. Clearly the best team in Georgia and one of the best in the country.

16. Armour Baseball- A great showing at the Elite 32 with a 6-3 record has the Armour Baseball team moving up six spots from #22 to #16.

17. Team Combat- A great showing at the Elite with wins over the Texas Nationals and California Dynamite while making it to the final 8.

18. D-Bat Mustangs Red- The Mustangs had a disappointing showing at the Elite 32 going 3-4. Look for them to reload and rebound for an impressive 12U season.

19. Georgia Roadrunners- The Roadrunners had a good season winning the Georgia AAU and Triple Crown State Championships.

20. Central Florida Bobcats- The Bobcats had a good 11U season winning the USSSA State Championship and the USSSA Winter World Championship. Unfortuanlly, they were unable to get a berth for a return trip to the Elite WS.

21. Edgewood Bulldogs- The Bulldogs capped of a fine season by winning the USSSA International World Series.

22. Mac N Seitz Indians- The Indians capped off their great season by winning the Mo-Kan USSSA State Championships.

23. Stixx Baseball- A good showing at the Elite 32, taking down the Oklahoma Elite and Lamorinda Monarchs.

24. Detroit Bees - The Bees from Detroit had another quality year.

25.Virginia Bruins - The Bruins finished out another great year.
