2009 TBS Pre-Season 11U Players To Watch (PTW)

PLAYERS TO WATCH - TravelBallSelect starts the beginning of each new season by posting a list of 100 to 200 players in each age group that are talented and skilled in baseball (power hitter, fleet footed, crafty pitcher, smooth fielder, utility player, a pitcher's catcher, ...). Each week for three to four weeks TBS will identify 25 to 50 players in each age group until they have listed 100 or more players. This list is not to be confused with the TBS All-America list as that selection process occurs at the end of the season (AA are selected based on the performance for that year while leading its team to championships). The preseason list is titled Players-to-Watch. It is not called The Top 100 or Preseason All-Americas because the intent is to identify players from all over the country - roughly 25 or more from each region that have been highlighted by Tournament Directors, Staff Writers, TravelBallSelect Staff, and Independent Coaches.
