11u Pitcher to Watch is Shelby Sherrill #7. At the Elite Travel Classic at Craig Ranch, Sherrill had 18 strikeouts in 8 and 1/3 innings going 1 and 1. Sherrill had 10 strike outs aginst the mighty Dallas Patriots in a 6 to 1 losing effort. Aginst the Dallas Patriots Sherrill struck out every batter at least once except the 7 and 10 hole hitters. Including striking out the number 4 hole and 8 hole twice. Dallas Patriots went on to Win the Elite travel Classic.

Sherrill in the previous game aginst the Ark-La-Tx Tornadoes entered as pitcher in the last inning with the game tied 5 to 5. Sherrill lead off the top of the inning with a frozen rope to the fense (290 feet) for a inside the park home run to give the Shockers the lead 6 to 5. Shockers added a run to make it 7 to 5 with Sherrill hitting the mound. Sherrill then struck out 3 batters to end the game.
