2009 11U South Florida Stealth

11U South Florida Stealth is competing at this month's Triple Crown Fall Nationals in St. Augustine, FL. TravelBallSelect will be there too to cover the news of this tournament. The 11U South Florida Stealth is a team that flew under TBS radar last year. But be warned that this is a quality team that will get your attention in 2009.

Last season as a 10U team, the Stealth was the top team in Florida based on power rankings. They showed why when they played in the Myrtle Beach Summer Nationals and were the number 1 seed after winning their pool games by a combined score of 48-1. They eventually lost in the quarter finals to TBS 6th ranked Knoxville Stars, 7-3, in a tight game that went down to the last inning.

Another success story was their strong showing in the always competitive Florida Premier League where they eliminated the Nike Cobras in the playoffs 5-2. Their success against TravelBallSelect's 12th ranked Nike Cobras continues into this season as they now have beaten this team 3 consecutive times for a combined score of 20-4 including 10-0 in the semis of last month's Triple Crown tournament.

They eventually lost to TravelBallSelect's 4th ranked team, Leon Medical Center, in the championship game. Look for the 11U South Florida Stealth players to do well in the upcoming Triple Crown Fall Nationals in St. Augustine, FL.
