What began as a battle of Mizzuno Glory power pitching versus Orlando Warrior changeups turned into a battle of arm endurance, with the Warriors outlasting the Glory 5-4 in 10 innings. Warrior Sam Ramirez earned the win for his four innings of solid relief pitching. The Glory took a two run lead in the second when a Surinach RBI single drove in Jackson. But the Warrior defense stood strong, and a 1-3-2 double play following a bunt ended the inning. In the top of the third Daniel Martinez walked with two outs. To loud chants of Two out rally! Kendrick Calilao tripled to the right field fence, driving in Martinez and bringing the score to 2-1 Glory. Glory catcher Greene picked off Calilao at third to end the inning after an apparent missed sign. Another inning ending pick off play occurred in the bottom of the third when Glory pinch runner Stephens was picked off by Warrior starting pitcher Elian Merejo. The Warriors took the lead in the top of the fourth on a 2-RBI double by Kemil Milanes, and would add one more in the inning to make the score 4-2 Warriors. Glory pitcher Surinach closed out the rest of the inning. But it was a game of back-and-forths, and the Glory tied the score 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth after a Surinach RBI bunt scored Cicarrello. The Warriors looked to take the lead in the sixth, but back-to-back defensive plays by Glory catcher Greene kept the score tied. With the momentum going their way, the Glory put a runner on third base with one out but couldn't score a diving catch by the Warrior third baseman sent the game into extra innings. After Murinach threw two straight 1-2-3 innings for the Glory, the Glory appeared poised to win in the eighth when Shifflett led off the ining with a double to the left field fence. But Shifflett was thrown out stealing third and the next two Glory batters went down quietly. In the tenth inning the games length began to take its toll on Glory pitching arms. New glory pitcher Sangunetti walked four batters a walk to Warrior hitter Kendrick Calilao with the bases loaded and two outs put the Warriors on top 5-4, a score the Warriors held to win in the bottom of the tenth.
