The Rays added another run in the bottom half of the inning when Alex Peterson scored on a Bo Dallas sacrifice fly to center making it 3-0 Rays and giving Dallas his second RBI of the game.
The top of the fifth was a repeat of the fourth for the Wildcats, as they stranded a runner in scoring position when Brady Manek struck out his fifth batter of the day. Kaden Polcovich and Brady Manek added RBIs in the bottom inning bringing the Rays lead to 5-0 and forcing the Wildcats to bring in relief pitcher Evan Russell.
