These games match the #4 seed, 6-4-3 Baseball Academy Cougars (GA) against the #1 seed, San Diego Stars North. In the 2nd half of the semi-finals, the #14 seed, Georgia Bandits are facing off against the #2 seed, Mizuno’s Glory (FL).
Highlights of Day 2 Bracket Play Results – Round 2
The Wellington Warriors (FL) dodged the turbulence of the North Florida Hurricanes by a score of 10-2 as the Warrior’s Mariah went 2-2 and turned each of his hits into a runs scored. The #4 seed 6-4-3 Academy Cougars (GA) edged past the #13 seed So CAL Diamond Dawgs as Cougar pitcher, Chris Rolick pitched a stingy game giving up only 4 hits that was reinforced by solid Cougar defense. Finally, the Georgia Bandits exploded with 20 runs while limiting the Long Beach Fury to only 5 runs. The Bandits got a big game from Chaney Rogers who hit a 3xRBI homerun to lead their scoring. Aaron Orozzo hit a home run for the Fury.
