14U Columbus Sharks

 

14u_columbus_sharks.jpgThe Columbus Sharks look to be pretty solid coming out of Columbus, Ohio.  The Sharks will enter 2008 with a 14 player roster which includes 9 returning player’s from last year’s 13U USSSA Ohio State Championship team and a current ranking of 15th by Travel Ball Select.  The Sharks have added 5 key players that should make them even stronger this year.  This team will have a solid line-up from top to bottom and a deep pitching staff that should keep them in most games.  TravelBallSelect.com has been told that they may have 5 players throwing in the 80’s.  The Sharks will be another team headed to the Battle in the South to prove that they can compete with anyone.  They are still undecided as to what National Championship tournament they’ll attend.  The Sharks are planning on playing in a 15U league in Ohio.  Outside of this, they plan on scheduling double-headers with some notable teams including the Cincy Flames, Knoxville Yard Dogs, Indiana Bulls, Indiana Irish, Kentucky Baseball Club, Lake Erie Baseball Club, Dublin Green Sox, and the Ohio Force.  The majority of these teams will also be attending the Battle in the South.  TravelBallSelect.com will keep a close eye on the 14U Columbus Sharks as they venture out of the State of Ohio for some major challenges.
