Sharks In the Desert

This well established program is getting ready to make it's move again! Since 1999 this program has produced some of the best players and teams in the Southwest, 4 National Championships and several Runner-ups. What's unique about this program is that they did it with only three teams.  The 2007 graduating class team stayed together from 11 year olds to 18 year olds, winning two National Championships.  Plus, 8 players signed with D-1 schools and several were drafted (only one signed). Graduating class of 2008 has produced 5 early D-1 commitments. Players too look for in this years draft  Kyle Lobstine, Riccio, Torrez, and Jaff Decker.  Other Highlights from the Landshark program include Matt Newman, Riccio Torrez, and Jaff Decker making the 16U and 18U Jr Olympic teams with Kyle Lobsine receiving a tryout. Class of 2012 (14U) Heath Dwyer LHP was also selected but was injured before tryouts.

The Landsharks final teams will be the class of 2011 (15U) and 2012 (14U). These teams are gearing up, already winning two National Championships since the age of 10 and finishing 2nd in the 2007 Triple Crown Winter Nationals in Vegas.  The 14U Landsharks also finished as the Runner-up in this year's NorCal Super NIT and earned a berth to the Elite 24 World Series.  The 14U Landsharks are seeking a few elite players looking for exposure at the National Level.
