13U Results - Texas Hurricanes Continue Their Winning Ways at AAYBA World Series (TX) Print E-mail
The  13U  Texas Hurricanes (currently ranked #25  by TravelBallSelect) won the AAYBA World Series, held in Flower Mound Texas.  With a 7-0 record, the Canes beat the Texas Tornadoes (ranked #19) 7-2 and then beat the North Texas Thunder (ranked #9) in the championship game 7-6.
 
The Hurricanes now have a World Series championship to add to their accomplishments in addition to their Dallas Super NIT win (along with a 2nd place in the Kansas Super NIT).  The Canes have also have wins this season  against the Ark-La-Tex Tornadoes, the Texas Tornadoes, the North Texas Thunder, Mac N Seitz Indians, all ranked teams, and they have a win over the BLBA Black an honorable mention team.  This is a team not to be taken lightly at the Elite World Series in a couple of weeks.
