12U Elite 24 Update: Pool Play Summary Print E-mail

12U Pool Play at the Elite 24 has finished and TBS national rankings have been spot on. TBS understands that this is only pool play and now the big games begin, but if you will take a look at the current rankings by TBS, you will see the Banditos Black from Texas, HB Nitro Elite from CA, Terminators from Mississippi and Team Rawlings from Florida as the top 4 ranked teams. After pool play, the teams with the 4 best records are the TBS #3 ranked Terminators 2-0 allowing only 3 runs and scoring 21 .

The Terminators has had solid pitching from Grayson Ivey, Vance Tatum and Jesse McCord and solid sticks throughout the lineup, The TBS #1 ranked Banditos Black are 2-0 allowing only 3 runs and scoring 18 runs. The Banditos Black has also had very solid pitching from Christopher Cavazos, Gabe Klobosits and Aric Rodriquez. In today’s game alone the Banditos Black showed their power that has been talked about on TBS by hitting homeruns coming from TBS players to watch Gabe Klobotis, Christopher Cavazos, Colton Wisebroad, Blake Richards and Kyle Pinson and the TBS #4 ranked Team Rawlings has had very good pitching from Landon Hutchinson, Logan Browning and David Boyle to help lead Team Rawlings to a 2-0 record scoring 10 runs and allowing only 5.

The TBS # 2 ranked HB Nitro Elite has made their trip across country worth while by going 2-0 scoring 14 runs and allowing 6. The Nitro has used 6 different pitchers to help them stay fresh in the Orlando heat and humidity. Stay tuned to TBS tomorrow as updates will be provided from the Elite.
