2008 12U PC Vipers

The “Red Hot” Paulding County Vipers have moved up to the #4 spot on the National TBS rankings for their consistent, rock solid play in ’08. The PC Vipers, as they are known, play out of a small community park in Dallas………that’s Dallas, Georgia. The Team strives on playing competitive baseball, but more importantly it’s about preparing the kids for their future in athletics. This is their second season as a full time travel team. All the players live within a 25 mile radius of their local park and now they are on the radar nationally. The PC Vipers have been very impressive early on and look for them to get even better on their journey to the Elite 24.

The PC Vipers have already “snake bit” many TBS ranked teams to seize the #4 spot by placing 2nd in the Atlanta Super NIT against TBS #2 Terminator Baseball (MS), capturing victory at the Charlotte Super NIT over the TBS ranked #18 Central FL Sting, fought to a top 4 finish at the Elite Travel Classic after playing 4 TBS ranked teams, and finishing 2nd at the Battle of the South in a very close 4-2 final.

The PC Vipers have a very talented and well coached team by David Corley, Raymond Neal, Shane Webb, Jerry Howell and Rico Noonan. 32-7 is a pretty strong record in anyone’s books, but this is significant considering the schedule of top talent this team has competed against. Look for the PC Vipers at Cooperstown, NY July 5th - 8th to make another outstanding showing as they make their push down the stretch.
