11U Elite 24 Update: Lamorinda vs TABU - SEMI-FINALS Print E-mail

No. 6 Lamorinda Baseball 4, No. 2 TABU 2

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Lamorinda Baseball, ranked No. 6 by Travel Ball Select,
advanced to the championship of the 13 & Under Major Elite World Series by
defeating No. 2 TABU 4-2 Saturday at Disney's Wide World of Sports.

Down 2-0 entering the fifth inning, Lamorinda posted four runs to take control
of the game. The rally was sparked by a two-run single from Walter Tucker and a
sacrifice fly by Tyler Petite. Joe Demers and David-Brett Vidal also had hits in
the inning.

The game was scoreless until the third inning, when Bryce Dyrda singled and
later scored to put TABU up 1-0. TABU added a second run in the fifth inning
when Devin Lehman singled and scored.
