11U Update - AAU World Series in Orlando, FL Print E-mail

This is one of the best tournaments of the year with many 11U ranked teams competing for the National AAU title.  The top teams according to TravelBallSelect have faired well through Pool Play. 

Teams undefeated after Pool Play include the 2nd ranked Florida Fire, the 7th ranked ECB Astros (GA) who recently won two games against Chief Baseball (GA, ranked 5th) in a warm-up for this tournament, 11th ranked Virginia Storm, and the Great Hands Gloves (CA). 

Other ranked teams have done well with three wins and one loss during Pool Play.  They are the Central Florida Diamonds (ranked 17th), Home Plate (GA, ranked 21st), Mill Creek Hawks (GA, 25th) and Carolina Angels (NC, Honorable Mentioned). 

Other teams that went 3-1 and are playing well and should not be overlooked include the Hawaii Warriors, South Carolina Spartans, and the Lakewood Ranch Longhorns.  The Astros from East Cobb Baseball are looking strong and should be rested going into bracket play as they run-ruled all four opponents. 

TravelBallSelect will continue to monitor and report on the results of this National Championship.
