11U Tournament Results - Georgia Triple Crown Event Print E-mail
6-29-08 -- TravelBallSelect’s Honorable Mentioned Southside Gray Sox win the 11U Triple Crown event against last week’s 11U Featured Team Home Plate (GA).  Home Plate 11U team is the Back to Back AAU State Champions who recently captured the title with two wins over the previously #1 ranked ECB Astros (GA).  The Gray Sox win with 3-1 as both teams pitched well and played great defense.  The Gray Sox team had to overcome a lost to ECB Titans in pool play and win three in the championship round to take it all.  On the way to the ‘ship, Southside got revenge in a defeat of the Titans, 4-3.
