Leon Medical Center Baseball, FL (TBS #4) wins Triple Crown Last Chance Pandemonium

The Triple Crown Last Chance Pandemonium featured two of South Florida’s premier teams, TravelBallSelect’s #4 LMC and TravelBallSelect’s #12 West Pines Nike Cobras. Both teams knew this would be a tough tournament as South Florida is known for its talented players and teams.

The Cobras would start pool play by defeating the South Florida Renegades 11-3 and the Tamiami Red Sox 15-0. LMC would face the South Florida Stealth winning 8-0.

In their second pool game they defeated the Piranhas (Pompano Beach) 8-7. Nike would earn a bye and would go on to defeat the Weston Rattlers 5-4 putting them into the semi finals were they would face the South Florida Stealth. LMC would face Latino Americana in their first elimination game winning 10-0.

Next up was the Miami Crush who LMC would go on to defeat 11-8. This set up a semi finals game against the Miramar Canes. LMC outscored the Canes by two with a 10 – 8 victory. In the other semi finals game the South Florida Stealth would defeat the Nike Cobras 10-0 setting up a rematch in the championship game between the Stealth and LMC. LMC would go on to win their fourth game of the day and claim the Championship.

Leon Medical Center surgically defeated its opponents throughout the tournament and looks ready to handle any outbreak in the 2008/2009 season.
