With Day One behind us, teams look to either secure a strong position heading to the double elimination bracket play or come from the bottom in seeding to middle of the pack. TBS ranked teams match up in key games today including #9 Most Feared (TX) against Honorable Mentioned & USSSA Major World Series Champion Alabama Senators. Expect the Senators to bring top guns to the mound hoping to move to 1-1 in pool play.

In another game to watch #19 Banditos Black faces off with Honorable Mentioned Mac-N-Seitz Red Sox. With the Red Sox coming off their AAYBA Open World Series championship in St. Louis, we’re sure they’re hoping they didn’t forget to pack that momentum for the trip.

Potentially, the biggest game of the day is TBS #7 O.C. Black Sox versus #23 Mac-N-Seitz Indians. The Indians surprisingly dismantled #21 VYAA Bomberz on opening day, while the Black Sox had a hard fought one-run victory against a Charlotte Megastars team that didn’t even qualify for the tournament as they were given an invitation. Will the Indians continue to impress or will the Black Sox show play like their TBS position.

In the final game to watch #13 Central Florida Bobcats square off against #17 American Avengers III. Both are 0-1 going into Tuesday and desperately need a win to regain a decent position going into the double elimination bracket. Both teams will be wise to put their #1’s on the mound to give their team a chance not only to win but position themselves with the runs allowed seeding criteria.

Overall this World Series is a travel ball fan’s fantasy league; look for the surprise results and scores to continue as 10U ball is extremely unpredictable. But with a field so thick an underdog winning the tournament will be shocking.
