10U Results - Texas Outlaws Defeat Dallas Patriots 2-1 for Championship of AAYBA World Series

Texas Outlaws 10U team captured the AAYBA World Series in Flower Mound, TX with a perfect 8-0 record. Some of the top ranked teams according to TravelBallSelect entered in this event were Oklahoma Elite (OK), Dallas Patriots (TX), Mac-N-Seitz Indians (KS), and the Flower Mound Warriors (TX) .

The Outlaws peaked at the right time of the season and had all facets of the game working well as they allowed only 2.5 runs per game while scoring over 9 runs per game and they had to do it against two of the top teams in the nation back on championship day. They outscored the OK Elite 9-5 in the Quarter Finals and the Dallas Patriots 2-1 in the Championship Game. The team was energized by each victory and the from hitting five homeruns during the course of the tournament.

Texas Outlaws are no strangers to post season success. In 2006 they finished 3rd as an 8u team in the USSSA World Series in Sulfur, LA. In 2007 they finished 2nd to the Oklahoma Elite in the Super Series Nationals in McKinney, TX. Now, in 2008, they have hoisted the National Championship Trophy.
