In a small turn out of five teams, the Juice Baseball 10U team won the AAU World Series with an undefeated record a week ago. The Juice (ranked by TravelBallSelect) won the Championship against the Tampa Titans who made it to the championship game by beating the Tampa Makos and emerged as the winner of the loser's bracket in this double elimination style tournament. After Pool Play, the Juice was 5-0 and got the best of the Titans in the last pool play game, a battle of unbeaten teams, by a score of 11-1. The champions were clearly the best team in the tournament as they run-ruled most all of their opponents throughout the tournament. In the Championship Game it was all Juice as Juan Hillman, the ace pitcher for the Juice, shut the Titans down with a 11-1 (again) victory. The better games to watch were amongst the remaining four teams. In the first game of the tournament Tylon Valdez-Freeman pitched a perfect game for the Tampa Titans against the Puerto Rico Knights. That performance was followed up by a 1 hitter by Austin Drury against the Jupiter Hammerheads and a 2 hitter by Tyler Powell against the Tampa Makos. This was the first year the Puerto Rico teams ventured to a National Tournament (last year some teams went to Regional World Series to qualify for this year's Elite 24). The teams learned that the competition is fierce in the States.
